Mary West (Mary Adelbert Teel West Shepard) was H. H. West's first wife and the mother of his children. Harriet Maria Teel Cline was Mary's sister and Wilfrid Cline was Harriet's husband.
Mary West and Harriet and Wilfrid Cline stand by the reservoir in Elysian Park. All three wear hats. Mr. Cline holds a coat over his arm. Mrs. West holds a pole and Mrs. Cline holds her skirt in her hand. There is a hill behind them with a fence stretching across it. The reservoir is at the left.
