Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Stepping stones stretch across the lake in Lincoln (Eastlake) Park. Two horse-drawn carriages cross the lake and two men walk across the stones. There is another man standing on the far shore. There are trees and other plants throughout. At the left, there is a bridge. Eastlake Park was renamed Lincoln Park in 1917. Text from negative sleeve: 1647. Los Angeles Park. Eastlake Park about 1900. 1. Interior of the hot house. 2. 3. Two pictures of the stepping stones across the upper end of the lake to cross to other side. No bridge then. The bridge was further up and only a foot bridge. 4. The ford for vehicles just above the stepping stones. 4 films.
