Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. People walk across on stepping stones to cross the lake at Lincoln (Eastlake) Park. A man leads the way, followed by a boy, a girl, and another boy, who wears a flat hat and is at the right of the photograph. There are trees and bushes throughout. A wire hangs overhead. Eastlake Park was renamed Lincoln Park in 1917. Text from negative sleeve: 1647. Los Angeles Park. Eastlake Park about 1900. 1. Interior of the hot house. 2. 3. Two pictures of the stepping stones across the upper end of the lake to cross to other side. No bridge then. The bridge was further up and only a foot bridge. 4. The ford for vehicles just above the stepping stones. 4 films.
