West, Wilson West and Wayne West posing in the front yard of the West family home at 429 South Workman Street. The trio is gathered in the near distance within the confines of the front yard and in front of a picket fence. Nella A. West stands at center and looks to camera. To the right of her, Wilson West stands and also looks to camera. Wayne West is rightmost. He sits atop a gate post, holding a stick and looking towards the camera. The front yard stretches across the foreground. Chickens roam the yard at left and a water pipe with hose stands in the yard at center. A walkway passes horizontally through the yard. The yard is contained by a picket fence that stretches back from right to left. Beyond the yard, a tree stands behind Nella and Wilson. In the far distance, hills are visible. The right edge of the negative is significantly tattered. Text from negative sleeve: 1683. Los Angeles, California. South Workman Street, East Los Angeles. 1. Left to right: Nella A.
