Military troops marching in Exposition (Agricultural) Park. They march past a building with the words, "carriages and agricultural implements" painted on it. A person holding a bicycle is at the right. A horse is at the left. There are trees in the background, as well as a utility pole and wires. A crack is at the center of the negative.
Text from negative sleeve: 1700. Los Angeles, California. Agricultural Park, 1898. 1. 2. 3. 4. During the Spanish American War in 1898 regiments of troops were stationed in Agricultural Park, where they drilled and waited for call to service. I went down one Sunday and took these four pictures of the place, and the troops drilling, 4 films.
