She looks down while she holds Millard and rests one hand on top of him. She holds Millard so that he faces towards the camera. Millard smiles as he glances past the camera. The side of the house stretches behind them at right and extends towards center. Neighboring lawns are visible in the background at left, just past the porch rail. Text from negative sleeve: 1704. Los Angeles, California. Russel's [sic] family. Sadie Sweazey [sic] lived on Main Street between Workman and Sichel. Married Will Russel [sic] whose folks had a grocery store at corner of Workman or Sichel and Main street - then known as Kuhrts street.
