Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Daisy Kellum sitting and posing on the front porch steps of her family's home. Daisy Kellum sits at center about midway up a small set of steps leading up to a porch and door. She sits towards the left side of the steps and leans her upper body towards the left, resting her elbows on a rail and resting her head to her hands. She smiles as she looks to the camera. The steps angle back to the right behind her. A door stands at the top of the steps, recessed beyond a porch. The porch extends from behind Daisy and towards the right. The house's exterior walls occupy the background. Text from negative sleeve: 1709. Los Angeles, California, about 1899. The Kellums. The Kellum family move from 224 East 24th street to either Clanton or Stamford [sic] street, near Eighth street. The number on the house is 1416 so they may have been down by 14th street. Forget now. 15 individual pictures of Daisy Kellum taken at this location. 15 films.
