A curtain covers a window behind it. To the right of Daisy, a banjo stands upright in the corner and a pot of flowers stands atop a small table near a door frame. The door frame runs parallel along the right edge of the image. Pictures hang on the walls behind Daisy.
Text from negative sleeve: 1709. Los Angeles, California, about 1899. The Kellums. The Kellum family move from 224 East 24th street to either Clanton or Stamford [sic] street, near Eighth street. The number on the house is 1416 so they may have been down by 14th street. Forget now. 15 individual pictures of Daisy Kellum taken at this location. 15 films.
