The horse and carriage are both covered in mesh. In the foreground, women in hats watch the parade, including one woman who is blowing her nose at the right. Other spectators stand across the street. Some people stand up on the scaffolding across the street. There are buildings in the background with signs hanging from them, including one that reads, "signs" and another sign that reads, in part, "L. A. gas and electric fixture mfg co."
