Agnes Hawley and Mertie Whitaker stand in the Whitaker's front yard. Both women are smiling. A fence lines the yard and a plant grows over the fence at the left. Across the street, there are trees and houses.
Mertie Whitaker became H. H. West's second wife in the 1920's. Agnes Hawley went on to marry Forrest Whitaker, who was Mertie's brother.
