There are fences on either side of the house. At the left, there is a neighboring house. There are small trees in the backyard. A hose stretches across the ground. Text from negative sleeve: 1750. Los Angeles, Calif., about 1900. Magnolia Ave., South. Brown's house. Abe Whitaker contracted with father to build them a home on Griffin Ave. across the street from where we lived. Wanted it built just like Brown's new house out on Magnolia Avenue, near 16th St. I went over and took photos of the house for father to have before him in making up the plans. 1.
