Calf sniffs a dog in the West's yard. There are houses visible at the left and across the street and trees throughout. There is a metal pail behind the dog. The calf has a collar and a rope hanging from that.
Text from negative sleeve: 1752. Los Angeles, Calif. 240 South Griffin Ave. 1897. 1. The corner to the south of our house where Woodworth built his home later. Our calf and probably Guy's dog on the lot. Vaughan's house at left. 2. From our front lawn looking up Griffin Ave over Sepulveda's lawn. 3. The Scared Heart sister's school. This picture was taken to get a picture of Eucalyptus leaves close up to send back east to some body who wanted a picture of an eucalyptus tree. 4. A picture of a pepper tree near home for same purpose. Note the close up of foliage in both films. 4 films.
