Neighboring homes are visible beyond West's as well as further down the block. Text from negative sleeve: 1753. Los Angeles, Calif. 240 South Griffin Ave., 1897. 1. The view of the Catholic Church from our front lawn; also Penning's house at right. Guy West's dog and the two Daugherty children, from next door north, on the lawn. 2. Our front lawn, and the front of our house looking north on Griffin. 3. I laid the rear yard out beautifully. Wayne West in the chair at right.
