Piano in the West's house at 240 South Griffin Avenue. A stool sits in front of the piano. There is a piece of music open on the music stand. A cloth is draped over the top of the piano and there are pictures on top, including what appears to be a portrait of George Washington. At the right of the piano there is a small table with a vase of flowers on it. At the left, there is a stool with newspapers on top. A dining chair sits at the left of the piano. A painting hangs above the piano and another, smaller one is at the left. There is a window at the left and the leg of what may be another table at the left edge of the image.
