Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. George M. West sits at the table in the library of the West's house at 240 South Griffin Avenue. He smokes a pipe and wears glasses. The table is covered with a cloth and topped with papers. The lower shelf has other papers on it. At the right of the table there is another small table with a lamp on it. A fireplace is in the background with pictures on the mantel and above it. At the right there are other chairs and there is a bookshelf in the background. Text from negative sleeve: 1755. Los Angeles, Calif. 240 South Griffin Ave. 1897. 1.
