H. H. West's brothers, Wayne and Wilson, sit the table in the library of the West's house. Both have their elbows on the table. Wayne is reading and Wilson is writing. There are books, papers, and a lamp on the table. There is a fireplace in the back and a bookcase at the right. Pictures are on the wall and propped up on top of the fireplace and bookcase. A light fixture hangs overhead.
