Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Nella A. West was H. H. West's sister. Pinkie Lemberger (Ellen Lorene Lemberger Warder) was their first cousin. Mertie Whitaker became H. H. West's second wife in the 1920's. Mertie Whitaker and Ellen Lorene (Pinkie) Lemberger stand on the West's front lawn while Edwin Emery and Nella West stand on the porch. Ms. Whitaker and Ms. Lemberger have their arms around each other's waists. Mr. Emery leans on the porch railing and Ms. West looks at him. A sign on the porch reads, "architect and contractor."
