Guy, Wayne, Nella, and Wilhelmina West in the backyard of the West's house. The yard is in the foreground with plant beds surrounded by dirt. Mrs. West and Nella are on the back porch, while Wayne sits on a chair and Guy is on his bike. The neighbor's house is visible at the right. The church across the street is visible at the left. A fence lines the yard. A utility wire crosses through the center of the yard.
Guy, Wayne, and Nella West were H. H. West's brothers and sister. Mrs. George M. West (Wilhelmina Lemberger West) was their mother.
Text from negative sleeve: 1807. Los Angeles, California. 240 South Griffin Ave. 1907. 1. Guy M. West on his bicycle; Nella West sitting on rear steps behind Guy; Mrs George M. West leaning against porch rail, and Wayne W. West on a chair below. Our rear yard was laid out in nice shape after the house was completed, and the grounds cleaned up. 1 film. 1 photograph.
