Description

West's daughters, Elizabeth and Frances, pose in the backyard of the West's home with their cousin, Frances Cline and unknown boy. Frances Cline is in front, and the other three are lined up behind her with their head sticking out. There is an outdoor couch behind them with a striped awning over it and the house beyond that. There is a small gate at the left. Text from negative sleeve: 1852. Los Angeles, California. 165 South Harvard Blvd. about 1914. The children took these pictures, and it was too late in the day for results. We had a lawn seat in our rear yard. 1. There are 4 children standing facing the camera. The one in front is Frances Cline. Suppose Elizabeth and Frances West are two of the others but one is not known. 2. 3. The lawn hammock. 3 films.
