Photograph of members of the West and Cline families posing on the front porch steps of H. H. West's home on South Harvard Boulevard. The group is positioned into 2 rows. Standing at back, from left to right, are: Minnie West, Absalom Cline, Clarence Cline and Mary A. West. Standing on the step below them, from left to right, are: Elizabeth West, Frances Cline and Frances West. Everyone except Elizabeth West looks to the camera. Up front, Elizabeth West holds a newspaper in front of her and looks down to read it. Low stone walls line the front of the porch on both sides of the steps. A wide porch, shrouded in shadow, stretches across the image behind the group.
