Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the text from the negative sleeve, this photograph was taken about 1912. This date is incorrect as Ambrose Cline was not born until 1915. Photograph of an infant Ambrose Cline sitting on the grass at John Teel's ranch in Chatsworth. Ambrose Cline sits upright in the near distance, right-of-center. He looks and reaches out to the right. A dog lies on the grass to the right of Ambrose. Ambrose appears to reach out to pet the dog. A sapling stands behind and to the left of Ambrose, along the left edge of the image. The field stretches into the distance behind him.
