Gilbert Cecil West, Mertie West, and William Roscoe Wright stand next to a movie poster in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Gilbert and William are in their army uniforms. Mertie wears a hat and coat and holds her purse under her arm. The movie poster is advertising Hudson's Bay starring Paul Muni and Gene Tierney.
Mertie Whitaker West was H. H. West's second wife. Gilbert Cecil West was the son of Evert and Myrtle West, and H. H. West's second cousin twice removed. William Roscoe Wright was Gilbert's friend.
