Mertie Whitaker West was H. H. West's second wife. Evert West was H. H. West's second cousin once removed.
H. H. West, his son and cousins pose together. There is a house visible at the left and a large palm tree in the background. There are also other trees and power lines in the background. They stand on the house's front walk. All four wear hats. The men wear suits and Mrs. West holds a coat.
