H. H. West poses with his wife and son. Mrs. West has her arm through her husband's and her other arm around her step-son's back. H. H. West Jr. wears a military hat and jacket and has a hand in his pocket. West wears a suit and hat. There is a palm tree behind him. The West's home is visible at the far left of the photograph. There are other houses in the background, as well as other trees, power lines, and a parked car.
Mertie Whitaker West was H. H. West's second wife. Wayne West was H. H. West's brother.
