Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Crowd at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum watches the Olympic Games. There is a man in a hat and sunglasses in the foreground. There are Olympic flags and American flags in the background, as well as banners for previous Olympic Games. The surrounding area is visible at the right of the photograph, including trees and neighboring buildings. There is a vertical sculpture at the top of one of the columns that makes up the outer edge of the Coliseum. The Summer Olympic Games took place in Los Angeles in 1932, not 1934 as the negative sleeve states. Text from negative sleeve: 1939. Los Angeles, California. The Olympic Games, 1934 [sic]. 1.
