In the foreground, there is the edge of a parasol. Spectators wearing hats are also in the foreground, and a huge number of spectators fill the stadium in the distance. The Summer Olympic Games took place in Los Angeles in 1932, not 1934 as the negative sleeve states. Text from negative sleeve: 1940. Los Angeles, California. The Olympic Games, 1934 [sic]. 1.
