Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Athletes line up during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. They are at the center of the stadium in multiple rows. There are people holding flags standing in front of the lines of athletes. A huge crowd of spectators watch from all around the stadium. The Summer Olympic Games took place in Los Angeles in 1932, not 1934 as the negative sleeve states. Text from negative sleeve: 1940. Los Angeles, California. The Olympic Games, 1934 [sic]. 1.
