Runners in a hurdle race at the Olympic Games. One man is jumping over the hurdle. Another runner is behind him, another in front. There are people to the side of the track, including some who are sitting on a bench. Spectators are visible in the background, and the hats of spectators are visible in the foreground.
The Summer Olympic Games took place in Los Angeles in 1932, not 1934 as the negative sleeve states.
Text from negative sleeve: 1941. Los Angeles, California. The Olympic Games, 1934 [sic]. 1. 2. Looking down on the track over the heads of the spectators. A foot race. 2 small films. 3. A foot race is starting, or rather the runners are jumping a hurdle. 4. The Judges stand across the track from us. 5. Horizontal film; the swimming pool. 6. Vertical film. The business end of the swimming pool. The judges are in those little square looking booths on the other side of the pool near the jumping off places. 6 films.
