Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. An out-of-focus photograph of Hotel Isabel on North Isabel Street in Glendale. A vacant lot adjacent to the side of the hotel stretches across the foreground. A sign is pitched in the middle of the lot. Beyond the vacant lot, Hotel Isabel stands in the near distance. It is viewed at a slight angle from the side and faces to the right. The hotel stands 3-stories tall. Windows line the left side of the building on the first and second floors. The third floor is gabled. Down the right side of the building it reads, "ISABEL HOTEL." On the front side of the building at right, a porch stretches across the first floor and balconies stretch across the second and third floors. A sign jutting out from the second floor balcony reads, "HOTEL ISABEL." A sidewalk stretches along the right edge of the image and recedes into the distance. Text from negative sleeve: 1971.
