Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. View of oil derricks in the Venice Oil field with cylindrical storage tanks, sheds and smoke stacks clustered around the bases. Signs on the derricks read "Chanel Oil Co. LTD, Jo Ann No 1," "McDonald Petroleum LTD," "Goetz Petroleum Corp. LTD," "M.C.R.R. Co. LTD, Venice No...," "Obrien No. 1," and "California Northern Linblade No. 4." There are 3 cars in the middle ground, and 2-4 men are visible standing behind a stack of pipes in the center.
