View from the pier towards two popular early beach clubs, left to right: the Breakers and the Edgewater.
The Breakers Beach Club, founded in 1926, was converted into the Grand Hotel in 1934 and eventually into an apartment complex. The Edgewater Beach Club, founded in 1927, was eventually demolished.
