Photograph, from left to right, of Forrest Whitaker, Dr. Bim Smith, Agnes Whitaker, Wayne West, Mrs. Brooks and an unidentified woman sitting at the West's dining table during a birthday dinner for Bim Smith and H. H. West. Forrest Whitaker, Wayne West and Mrs. Brooks sit across the the near side of the dining table. Their chair backs are towards the camera and all three twist around to look to the camera. Dr. Bim Smith and Agnes Whitaker sit on the far side of the table in the near distance at center, between Forrest and Wayne. Both look to the camera. A lit birthday cake sits in front of Bim on the table and Agnes dons a top hat. The unidentified woman sits on the far side of the table between Wayne and Mrs. Brooks. Glasses and flatware sit atop the table. In the background, a bookshelf stands behind and to the left of Bim Smith and a wide doorway leads into another room behind Agnes.
