Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a new school crossing sign erected on Griffin Avenue. Griffin Avenue passes through the image on a steep upward angle from the lower right corner and up to the left. A car is parked on Griffin Avenue at left. It is viewed from the rear and is parked along a curb to the right of it. A telephone pole stands next to the car. Just ahead of the telephone pole in the tree lawn, the new school crossing sign stands at center. It reads, "SCHOOL CROSSING AHEAD L.A. P.D." To the right of the tree lawn, a sidewalk runs parallel to Griffin Avenue; a man walks down the sidewalk, away from the camera. Houses at right line the street and stand in a row that enters frame at right and extends back to the left. Text from negative sleeve: 2095.
