Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph, from left to right, of Maud West, Wayne West, Agnes Whitaker and Mertie West sitting in front of their cabin at Knight's Camp at Big Bear Lake. The cabin sits in the near distance, right-of-center, in partial view. It enters frame at right on an angle and extends to the left; it is viewed from the front. A slightly elevated porch constructed of wood slats stretches across the front of the cabin. The group sits on the porch at center. Maud West and Wayne West sit leftmost in chairs and look to the camera. Agnes Whitaker sits in front of the group at center. She sits atop a large timber post, facing left, and looks to the camera. Mertie West sits rightmost in a chair on the porch and looks to the camera. The door to the cabin sits directly behind Agnes. The number plate on the door frame reads, "36." Wide windows are inset on either side of the door. The cabin is constructed of lumber panels oriented vertically and a corrugated metal roof. Trees are visible in the distance at far left.
