Description

Distant photograph, from left to right, of Maud West, Agnes Whitaker and Mertie West sitting in front of their cabin at Knight's Camp at Big Bear Lake. A dirt road or driveway stretches across the foreground. The cabin sits in the distance at right, in partial view, surrounded by pine trees. It enters frame at right on an angle and extends back towards center; it is viewed from the front. A slightly elevated porch constructed of wood slats stretches across the front of the cabin and is lined by wide timber posts. The group sits on the porch, right-of-center. Maud West sits leftmost in a chair and looks to the camera. Agnes Whitaker sits in front of the group at center. She sits atop a large timber post and faces left with her back slightly to the camera. Mertie West sits rightmost in a chair and faces left. The door to the cabin sits between Agnes and Mertie. Wide windows are inset on either side of the door. The cabin is constructed of lumber panels oriented vertically. A car is parked along the left side of the cabin. It is viewed at an angle from the front and the side; it faces left.
