West, Jr. stands at center on a walkway in the near distance. The walkway enters frame from the lower right corner and stretches on an upward angle to the left. He stands at the edge of the walkway and faces slightly left while looking to the camera. H. H., Jr. wears his military uniform. Behind him and to the right of the walkway, trees and shrubbery stand, slightly obscuring the porch. Beyond the shrubbery, the front porch of the West's residence juts out from the right and towards the left. A cut-out, arched window sits on the side of the porch at right. An archway on the front of the porch stands behind H. H., Jr. Beyond the porch, a neighboring house stands in the distance, facing to the left. Text from negative sleeve: 2116.
