According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
An out-of-focus photograph of Mertie West picking raspberries in W. L. Kinsell's rear yard while on a trip to Alaska. Mertie West stands in the near distance, left-of-center. She faces slightly left as she picks raspberries from the bush to the left of her. More raspberry bushes extend to the right of Mertie. Beyond the yard, a house and other built structures stand in the background. The house stands left-of-center. A wooden building stands at right and a log cabin stands at left.
