According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
An out-of-focus photograph of Mertie West standing in front of a totem pole at Saxman Totem Park. A road passes through the foreground on an upward angle from right to left. The park lines the right side of the road. Mertie West stands at center in the distance, near the perimeter of the Totem Park. A short, bird-like carved figure stands behind and to the left of her. Further back and directly behind Mertie rises a much taller totem pole. A bald eagle figure sits atop the pole. Mountains rise in the far distance at right.
