Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of H. H. West posing by the dog kennels in Denali National Park and Preserve. H. H. West stands at center and looks to camera. He stands in front of a dog kennel constructed out of logs and rests a hand down to the roof. More identical kennels appear to stand in rows in the area. One stands to the right of the kennel at center and extends out-of-frame. About 4-5 more stand in a row behind H. H. that extends on an angle up from left to right. Tall grasses surround the kennels and grow in the wide gaps between each individual dog house. The park's landscape sprawls into the distance behind the kennels. Text from negative sleeve: 2170.
