Description

In the foreground, a pier extends along the right edge of the image and into the distance. Water occupies the harbor area in the center of the image. Another, shorter, pier extends into the image from the left frame. To the right of the short pier, 2 small boats float in the water at center. Behind the short pier, a long pier stretches across the distance. A large warehouse sits atop the left side of the pier. The Aleutian is moored on the far side of the pier. It sits off-center to the right and is viewed from the side. Smoke billows from its solitary funnel. Silhouetted mountains are visible rising in the far distance. Text from negative sleeve: 2182.
