Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Mertie West (center) and others strolling through the town of Circle, Alaska. Overgrown grasses in the foreground at left line a dirt and gravel road that enters frame at right. Mertie West walks along this road in the distance, right-of-center. One man stands behind and to the left of Mertie. Three other people stand in the overgrown grasses that line the right side of the road.
