Description

The ship sails in partial view along the left edge of the image in the foreground. Its bow faces towards the back of the image. Cars are parked on the top deck and a few passengers stand along the starboard rail. Rigging lines stretch vertically above the ship. Taku Harbor stretches to the right of the ship and into the distance. The shoreline extends through the image from low right, arcing towards the left. Extending from the shore at center is the Libby cannery. Several large buildings stand on platforms over the water. Tree-covered mountainsides rise from the shoreline in the background.
