A portion of a dock juts into frame in the lower left corner. The Tongass Narrows spans most of the width of the image and stretches into the distance. The Aleutian sails in the distance, right-of-center. It approaches the Ketchikan shore and is viewed from its bow. The Ketchikan shoreline enters frame at left and extends into the distance.
