Photograph of First Street stretching uphill between buildings in Juneau, Alaska. A portion of North Franklin Street is visible stretching along the bottom edge. First Street extends back into the image at center. The dirt and gravel street ascends as it approaches the distance. Buildings stand in partial view on either side of First Street in the foreground. Houses line both side of the street in the distance. At the end of the street, a steep staircase rises at the base of the hillside that spans the background.
