A poorly lit photograph of Native Alaskans selling souvenirs to ship passengers passing through Chatham (Sitka), Alaska. From left to right, a Native Alaskan woman and child sit with their backs to camera at center. Souvenirs lie on the ground in front of them. The woman hunches over towards the right. At right, a man stands, in profile, facing left. He hunches over the souvenirs as well. The shadow of another person enters frame at right. Behind the group, the corrugated metal siding of a building stretches across the background. Four punch holes run across the bottom edge. Text from negative sleeve: 2212. Alaska Trip.
