Photograph of H. H. West dozing while sitting in a lounge chair on the upper deck of a ship. H. H. West is viewed close-up. He sits at center in a lounge chair and faces towards the left. H. H. leans back in the chair as he sleeps. Behind him, the ship's guardrail lines the upper deck. It extends across the image on a slight upward angle from left to right. A life saver ring hangs from the rail, behind and to the right of H. H. A waterway stretches into the distance beyond the ship and mountains rise in the background.
