The single-story house stands in the near distance at center. It is viewed at an angle from the front and extends beyond the frame at right. The front door is at center and sits recessed back. Windows are situated wide to either side of the door. An attached garage at right extends out-of-frame. Mertie West stands at the foot of the front steps at center. She faces the camera, but looks to the right. A large, white streak swoops down from the upper edge. Several punched holes line both the top and bottom edges.
