Photograph of Mertie West picking berries at Simeon Oliver's place in Anchorage. The bottom third of the image is in shadow and a white-ish blur stretches along the right edge. Mertie West stands in the near distance at center. She appears to walk towards the camera and looks down. Mertie carries a small bowl in front of her as she picks berries.
