Photograph of a house built on the former property of the Austin family in Red Oak, Iowa. The house stands on the north side of Prospect Street. A brick-paved Prospect Street passes across the foreground. The bungalow-style house stands at center and is viewed at an angle from the front. Its front porch juts forward from the house. A wide dormer sits atop the roof. The house's garage stands behind and to the left of it. A neighboring house (partial view) and detached garage stand at left. At right, the side of another neighbor's house (also in partial view) is visible.
