Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of the office and dining room of the Furnace Creek Camp at Death Valley National Park, as viewed at an angle. A parking lot stretches across the foreground on an angle back from left to right. In the near distance, left-of-center, a woman and a man walk towards the camera. To the right of them, cars are parked in an angled row within the parking lot and in front of the campground office. Behind the couple, the campground office stands in partial view. It extends beyond the frame at left and stretches back towards center. The structure is viewed at an angle. Written on the far left side of the building, it reads, "STORE." Attached to the back and right of the office, the camp's dining room stands. On the side wall of the building, signage reads, "DINING ROOM FOUNTAIN." Mountains are visible in the distance at far right. Text from negative sleeve: 2258.
